NORTHPOINT HISTORY

The enterprise risk management concept was formulated at Landmark Partners, a venture fund buyout company. Landmark acquired a portfolio of over 800 investments from a company that as part of their strategy gave funds on a yearly basis to a group of predetermined venture capital organizations to invest it on their behalf.

The initial research from the 800 plus commercial, not for profit and technology investments in the public and private sectors led to the development of the first tool and supporting database that required over 2 years of product development.

Today the 24 major products are used at companies globally to identify the risk and value inherent in companies, projects and products. Additionally, we have teamed with the following universities to incorporate the concepts and software into the curriculum:

NorthPoint is comprised of highly experienced professionals that were formerly with firms such as Ernst & Young, IBM and Siemens. We work in a network with several other firms.
